Every shop hits the same wall

One good pair of hands makes one great door. Then it has to make the next one just as good, and the forty after that — same thickness, same color, same edge, on a Tuesday afternoon in week three of the job. That's the wall. Alex Bialostozky spent years pushing against it.

2007 — The Shop

Alex opened INTERA as a custom shop. Fifth generation in the trade. Doors made one at a time, for customers who could tell the difference. Good work, and a hard ceiling on how much of it there could be.

Three years ago — The Fix

His son Eyal came into the business and they went after the ceiling directly. Not more hands. A production floor where the result doesn't depend on who was holding the part. Seven stations. Cut, joined, pressed, calibrated, edged. A door comes off the line finished — no sanding it in, no touching up a corner, nobody deciding by eye whether it's close enough.

2026 — Intera Cabinet Doors LLC

A US company, a US phone line, and a first booth at IWF Atlanta. Intera Cabinet Doors LLC was registered in Wyoming in August 2026 to serve architects, millworkers and dealers across the United States directly: one point of contact, delivered pricing, and about four weeks from confirmation to your door.

The machine nobody sells

The 3/8" Shaker frame is the hardest thing we make, and no manufacturer builds an edgebander for a frame that narrow. So we rebuilt one ourselves. That's the part six generations in this trade actually left us — not a technique. The nerve to open up a machine and change it.

What this means for your job

You send dimensions. We send fronts that fit, in one thickness, in one color, with an edge that matches — whether it's a single door or a full run of cabinets. No minimums built for factories. No sample that doesn't match the order. Made to measure means to your measurements, not to the nearest standard size.
